Guided by a GPS glitch to an impossible destination- an expanse of open ocean, this body of work unravels the mythos of ‘location 0’, a site laden with speculative narratives, technological residues, and poetic inquiry. What begins as a navigational error evolves into an exploration of the layered narratives surrounding this unmapped realm.

At the heart of the work lies ‘Soul’, a defunct weather buoy, positioned by a french company that names its instruments after music genres, Soul’s now-silent archive becomes a repository of cryptic codes: wind directions, water salinity, atmospheric conditions. These fragments form the foundation of a speculative language, translated into prose, textures, and sculptural expressions.

‘NODE; TRANSIT’  interrogates the uncanny details of a site that is not traceable yet persists in collective imagination and digital scopes. It is a meditation on systems, maritime and human, that shapes the understanding of space, error and belonging. The body of work echoes remnants of temporal dislocations - an emerging of an indeterminate past. Layers of materiality and fragmented forms weaved throughout evoke an elusive atmosphere, a searching that lingers at the edge of perception, webbing familiarities into a tension between presence and obscurity.
